Spring Flowers

It's FINALLY Spring, although it doesn't feel like it where I live(New England).
I went to Michaels Arts and Crafts the other day and purchased these flowers, 3each for $1.00.
I got orange, white and pink and because each color came with 3 flowers, I gave my mom one of each.  I just cut off the stem then stick the flower in my hair. This is so much cheaper then buying the pre-made flower clips.

I still have those braids in my nape. I will redo them weekly.

Oh and guess what I got???? A new Camera!!! Yaaaaayyyyy!!!

  1. Those flowers look really nice, I think I'm gonna grab a few from micheals and yes they are so much cheaper than buyin the flower clips. On another subject I just tried the ors hair mayonnaise for the first time and I love it, it made instantly detangled my hair after I washed it. I may still use my apoghee 2 min protein but I was thinking since the hair mayo has protein and it is a deep conditioner I probably don't need another conditioner, I love to save time and hate being under the dryer. I'm ready to move onto my moisturizers and leave ins. So do think it could be a protein treatment and deep conditioner?

  2. Thanks!
You should get some, they will spice up any hair-do.

ORS Hair Mayo was a staple of mine. I love that Deep Conditioner. It does strengthen and soften the hair. If you are using that, then there really isn't a need to also use Aphogee 2 min reconstructor. I would save the Aphogee for during the relaxer process though. (after rinsing out the relaxer, put the Aphogee in your hair for like 5 minutes to regain protein, then neutralize)

I honestly believe you can use the Hair Mayo as a primary DC because it does give your hair a moisture and protein balance.
If your hair ever feels hard after washing it out, then just rinse your hair real quick with any moisturizing conditioner.

  3. Hi! Thank You for doing a little research about the BKT! I didn't know enough about it to use it, so I returned it to the store. I like the brown sugar bit and have tried the baking soda. I just need to find the right facial wash. I currently use soap. You should go on ZanandRob and check out how she does her braidouts. I plan to try it tonight.

  4. @ Anon- Hello! No problem.
I read that it's best to go to salons for the BKT Treatment, so you probably made the right move returning it.
I used to love Aveeno Positively Radiant Facial wash, but switched to Dr. Woods Black Soap with Shea Butter.

I've seen ZanandRob's You-Tube videos on her braid-outs and I do like that method..maybe I will try it out one day. Good luck with yours, I'm sure it will come out nice.
