Weekend Hair Plans

I plan on doing my quarterly Henna and Indigo treatment. My hair needs  a strengthening treatment right about now and I want it to be JET BLACK

I already mixed the Henna and it consists of:

200G of Henna
Black Tea- Made with only 2 tea bags
1 Egg
1 Tablespoon of Honey
1 Tablespoon of Extra Virgin Olive Oil

It's in my fridge right now.

I will apply it tonight, keep on overnight, rinse in the AM with WEN, then proceed to Indigo.
After doing the Indigo, I will rinse that out with a moisturizing conditioner.

I plan on putting my hair in "chunky" twists and keeping them in for a week. Then turning them into smaller twists next Saturday.

These are from last week.

Do you have any hair plans this weekend? If so, what are they?

  1. Can't wait to see your results, I have been meaning for some time now to get some henna and indigo to get my hair to be darker, but have no idea where to start lol.
    This post is definitely helpful!

    1. lol..I didn't know where to start at first either. When I first started using Henna, I just mixed it with conditioner and oil. Then after about a year I started doing full blown henna treatments.
      Glad this helped!

  2. I so wanna do a henna treatment. I want the red. I'm bored with my hair colour.

  3. I bet it's going to look beautiful! :) Henna and Indigo are a godsend for people like me who can't use the chemical stuff, I'd rather not anyway, indigo is so much healthier. My hair plans won't be until next Monday, I'll be doing indigo before I go back to school. My roots have come in a lot, need to re touch. School starts Wednesday for me, so if I do it Monday it'll give the indigo a good 48s to get deep purplish black! :)
    Happy Friday, and Happy Hair!

    1. Thank you! It really is much healthier.oooh I bet your results will be beautiful! Have a great weekend!!!
