Last on My Wish List

When it comes to hair tools, product, accessories and appliances..I just about have all that I NEED. Although... there are a few things that I want, but am not in a hurry to purchase.
I have some strict financial goals I would like to meet before purchasing any unnecessary items...so for now, these will remain on my wish list.

1.) Hair Steamer
At this moment, my hair is behaving pretty well. It stays moisturized with little effort and I'm not experiencing much breakage...but I'm only 11 weeks post.
I believe the more new-growth I get...the more moisture I may need, so that's where a Hair Steamer comes in.
I will most likely purchase one in June as a gift for making it 6 months since I decided to stop relaxing.

2.) Curlformers
I love the curls these produce and they will stretch out my new-growth very well.
They are pretty pricey though...$63.00 for the set of 40 or $13.00 for either 4, 8 or 10.
I know Ebay has some knock offs called Magic Leverage's, but I only saw the short ones and I don't plan on BC'ing in the near future.
I will probably break down and get the set from Sally's, but not anytime soon.

3.) Flexi-8's
I LOVE these hair clips and have been eyeing them for a while now. I know I can do so much with them and they seem to give great hold. But to pay $16.00-$23.00 for a hair clip (not including shipping) seemed crazy to me...especially if I don't see myself wearing them often since I already have tons of hair accessories I barely wear.

Total- About $200.00
I'm hoping to have these all by the end of the year!

  1. I want a flexi8, but the price, I don't know.

My sister has the long/wide curlformers and she bought them from ebay, she bought them and they came in a big zip-lock, I don't know if they're the original or knock-offs, they seem to work so well, I haven't tried them yet.

  2. I want a flexi-8 clip!!!

You can get the regular-like, generic curlformers from e-bay, that's where I got mine from!

  3. I wouldn't mind a hair steamer myself. I would use it when I do long stretches especially. I need to take a look at my wish list.

  4. I bought that exact hair steamer from the same vendor a few months ago and absolutely love it. I actually used it this morning when I DC'd and asked myself why haven't I been using it every week.. Love!! My only complaint is that it's not compact at all so I hate seeing it in the corner of my apt but I'm willing to give up decor for my hair :) I notice a difference every time I use it - I don't DC under my hooded dryer anymore.

    1. You did? That's the exact one I would like too, glad you like it!
It's not compact, but compared to the Huetiful, I heard it get's your nape area better. Now I can't wait to get it!

  6. Ooooh, nice wishlist. I am wishing for a steamer, too. I was looking at this exact one. I've seen lots of great reviews on this steamer.

Curlformers....I could go on all day about these. I have the set. I bought the set in 2008. It was $57 then and surprisingly it is still almost the same price. I want the long/thin ones, but I don't want to pay $10 a bag since I need at least 3-4 bags. Maybe I'll look for the thin ones on ebay. I am so happy with my cf set. I keep trying to create a great flexi rod set, but I know I can always go back to my cf.

    1. Wow..you had Curlformers since 2008?!? It's good to know the price hasn't increased that much.
You seem very pleased with them...so I'm sure I will love them too!
