Trip to Sally's

I was running some errands today and stopped by Sally Beauty Supply to buy a few hair products.
As I said earlier I washed my hair today and it was still drying when I left my place. I wasn't ready to put a bun in because my hair was still damp and I don't like to manipulate my hair when it's not fully dry. So, I just wrapped a scarf on my head and left.

As for what I purchased at Sally's.........

This is what I got:

Sheer Glory Scissors: I plan on dusting my hair today do I needed to buy some new scissors. The lady at the register said they were good, so I'm going to trust her opinion this go around. (When purchasing scissors make sure they are very sharp. Don't use regular household scissors either, they can make hair split even faster).
Cost: $9.79- $2 coupon $7.79

Hair Styler: Foundations for the perfect Chignon/Bun- I would like my buns to look more full and I heard this was a great tool to do so. All you have to do is put your hair in a ponytail. Pull ponytail through the styler. Then arrange hair around the styler and fasten with pins.
I don't like the material(mesh) of it, so I may cover it with some silk cut from a scarf .
Cost: $2.99

Wild Growth Oil: Light Oil Moisturizer- I'm not using the Sulfur 8 hair grease anymore on my scalp. It helped with dandruff, but I just don't like it anymore. So, I purchased Wild Growth and will mix it with 1 teaspoon of Sublime Sulfur. I will apply this to my scalp 3 times a week.
I'm loving the oils in the ingredients: Olive Oil, Jojoba Oil, Coconut Oil, Castor Oil, Flax Seed Oil, Carrot Oil, Vitamin E....just to list a few. I figure instead of buying and mixing oils, I an just use this.
Cost: $7.89

Main n Tail Detangler: My hair was very tangled today so I had to be extra careful when combing and handling my hair. I'm not sure if it's because I just took my braids out or because I'm 11 weeks post relaxer. Either way, I heard this detangler works great. So, I'll try it out and let ya'll know.
Cost: $4.49

Tool Structure: Jump Comb- I purchased this for the same reason as above.
Cost: $1.49

Roux: Treatment & Shine,Moisture System: I'm trying this out as my leave-in spray before I apply my leave-in conditioner.
Bottle Says: Treatment and Shine is specifically formulated to hydrate and nourish dry hair. Our dual action leave-in formula treats the outer cuticle layer and internal structure of hair to restore the correct moisture balance.
My hair is not that dry, but I will be using mostly mild protein deep conditioners(Ors and Lekair) so I want to make sure I have the right protein moisture balance. The ingredients in that does have hydrolyzed wheat protein, but its pretty far down the list so I'm assuming this is a predominately moisture leave-in.
Cost: $7.49

Total Spent: $29.23 ( had a 15% off coupon saving me $4.82)

This is less than I would spend at a salon for a wash and set. Mind you, my last salon visit was about 2 months ago.  Next trip to Sally's will be to buy my relaxer and everything that goes with that. Oh yeah, my mother's doing my next touch-up. Will talk more about that later.

    1. No, I didn't have any issues. It worked well on my hair. I didn't use much sulfur, probably 1/4 tspn. The normal wild growth oil in the white bottle made my hair shed way too much.
