What Ms. D thinks
I have been using this product to smooth down my baby hairs/edges and the perimeter of my hair for about 3 years now. It does a great job at smoothing the hair down, while keeping it moisturized and soft. I have  never experienced the hardness of some gels or white flakes.
The hold doesn't last all day for me, but because it's so moisturizing, my hair still looks good.
It smells divine and lasts forever. A little, like a dime size, goes a long way. If you use too much, certain parts of your hair will be much shinier than the rest.

Although there are a bunch of positives about this product, I have one huge negative.
Whenever I use it to slick down my edges, I see one or 2 strands of hair on my finger. I believe because the consistency is like an actual paste and is very thick, it pulls some of my fragile edges out while I smooth them down. Because of this, I now use this paste very sparingly.

How I use it: I would just scoop a little of product onto my finger, rub my fingers together to spread the product out a bit,  then either slick my baby hairs to the side or smooth my hair all the way back.  Afterwards, I would tie my hair down with a satin scarf for about 30 minutes.
You could also use this to set your hair(braid/twist outs), but I haven't done so.

Rating (from 1-5) : 3.5

Would I repurchase: After the realization that it pulls some of my hair out, no.
